@tubular167 I’d first like to second the complimentary reviews of the video. As to which coffee bean, hilocomtoot? I suggest you keep it simple: stick with a can or 3 of Illy espresso to get a good baseline on technique and taste, then later on explore local coffee providers and grinding and more advance stuff. MAKE SURE to get the Illy ground for espresso (they are aggressively marketing Illy ground for coffee in my area).

One more ? Used your method today and it worked great! Have an electric stove so had to crank it up a bit. How would you now make the white creamy frothy looking top part that you often see associated with espresso? Boy that stuff really gave me a buzz!!! Thank you again for your great instructions!

@hilocomtoot

hi.glad you liked my video.if you are going to use whole beens and grind them yourself then use a dark roasted bean.if you are going to use ready ground beans then ILLY dark roast for espresso or costa coffee beans(espresso) or even nero coffee beans would work.if you need any more help then feel free to ask..

Great video, got one of these at a garage sale and had no idea how to use it. One question what kind of coffee bean do you use? I just couldn’t understand what you said. Again, many thanks for the great demo!!!!
